National Association of Diaconate Directors

NADD Mission Statement

''The National Association of Diaconate Directors exists to support diaconate directors, associate directors, and their staffs in their mission to enable deacons, candidates, aspirants, their wives and families to utilize their gifts in the service to the Church following the model of Jesus Christ.''

NADD Region 1 includes the New England states and the Diocese of Albany NY.

Region 1 provides an opportunity for the Diocesan Directors of the Diaconate to meet, exchange ideas and support each other in living out their commission to support the diaconate in their respective dioceses.

The Region 1 directors meet four times each year:
February
April at the National Association of Diaconate Directors Conference
May for a Staff Day of Continuing Education with their Diaconate Office staff members
September
November at the Region 1 Assembly of Deacons

The Annual Assembly of Deacons in November provides a day of continuing education for all of the deacons and wives.
